iPhone 4

     I have been anxiously waiting to hear about the iPhone 4 and it's release date. I have been reading a live blog for the last two hours on macrumorslive.com of the WWDC today. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time wishing I could actually hear or watch what Steve Jobs what introducing...but macrumorslive.com did a good job of keeping an min by min update of the conference. Here is a brief overview on when the phone is available  -----So iPhone 4 will be released on June 24th and can be pre-ordered starting June 15th! So I'm saving up some $$$ and pre-ordering that baby on June 15th... I have the first generation iphone since it came out so its def time for me to upgrade and it was definitely worth the wait. iPhone for will start at $199 for 16 GB or $299 for 23GB. It will come in either black or white. Also AT&T will allow up to 6 months of early eligibility for an iPhone 4. For more info on the phone you can go to apple.com and I am sure tons will show up. The hubs and I will be hosting a small get together with family and friends once we move into our place. I am excited because I've always wanted to host a party(picnic) of my own and now that I can, I have decided to venture out into "cooking" nothing huge ( I have my dad for all the important stuff)but some easy appetizers, pasta salads and desserts that I want to try (since I'm NO cook by any means).

1-1/4 cups pitted ripe olives, sliced
1 cup chopped red, yellow or green pepper

Salad Ingredients

• 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded

My First Basketball Game

The hubs and I are going to see Lakers vs Boston game 5 of the finals in Boston on June 13th and I am estatic about going. This will be my first NBA game and It's going to be a great, mostly because I am excited that the hubs gets to see his all time favorite team play THE LAKERS! I just get excited seeing how excited the hubs is about going, it just puts a smile on me face and I know we are going to have such a great day just the two of us. A millions things are crossing my mind like what am I going to wear and I wonder if the Kardashians are going to be there lol haha but nothing basketball related! Such a girl! I never thought I'd be so excited to go to a basketball game!

P.S. I will definitely update you on what I am going to wear!

UPDATE!

 

Okay! So I've come to the conclusion that I just can't see myself all decked out in Laker gear lmao! So I'm thinking maybe something like the outfit I put together in the above picture is what I'll end up wearing ...although I will sport a flag or something of that sort on game day!

Today we started shopping for our place...the hubs has given me full control over decorating our place he says "lets see how good you really are" ..so I'm on a mission to prove to him I am good lol So like Carrie Bradshaw said in SATC2 "I've been cheating on fashion with furniture," I will definitely be giving up fashion for furniture for a while. lol

After much complaining the hubs has finally agreed to let me do his office chocolate brown and white,  a very clean and crisp looks (originally I wanted a light teal and brown but that wasn't gonna happen) so brown and white it is. I'm excited to do a nice clean look that hopefully he will love  and enjoy for some time ...unless we have to turn it into a nursery lol

July 1st it is!

As I mentioned in my last post July 1st was going to be the day we moved into a place no matter what....After much searching we finally found a place. Just yesterday the hubs and I signed our lease for a 2 bedroom condo in Fairfield that we are super excited about. It's a cute private condo with a eat in kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. We also have a small deck and cute back yard that we are excited to use to host our first BBQ this summer. So the packing, cleaning and shopping begins!

Forever 21

One of my favorite places to shop is Forever21...I always seem to have a shopping bag of over $300 worth of stuff and I constantly keep adding more things! I just cleared my chart 2 weeks ago lol here are a few things I am already wanting:

Two Months Married!

Wasn't it just one month like yesterday! Married life is great!  Since last month we have been on a major apartment search, we have looked at close to 20 places or it definitely feels like it lol. Out of what feels like 20 places we have liked about 2 places, which means no luck so far. We have decided on sticking with townhouse and condo apartments to give us more privacy. We were looking to be in a place by the 1st of June, which is nearly impossible now so our new move out date will be July 1st (it better be).

Also, within the last month the main topic in my house that keeps getting brought up is BABIES! At least once a week the topic of babies gets brought up by either  my mom, sister, aunt, grandma or other family member. The hubs and I are really excited about wanting a baby but its such a back and fourth topic right now ....so no babies just yet.  But it gives me butterflies just thinking about it I  know the hubs is going to be an amazing dad and together we hope to be amazing parents.

As for jobs, my job is going good still training ugh but its going... as for the hubs he is still looking for a better jobs but he's hanging in there until he can find something better.

So hopefully this month brings us good things and a lot of packing!!!!!
